Dr Morna Baxter BDS(Dundee) GDC Number 72067

Morna is the Principal Dentist and the Practice owner. She took over the practice from her father Dr Henry Baxter BDS in 2000.She has over 20 years experience and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry,particularly providing patients with natural looking Crowns,Bridges and Veneers. Morna regularly attends post-graduate courses to keep her skills current and cutting edge. Transforming her patients smiles and increasing their self confidence is why Morna enjoys her job so much!

Outside of work, Morna enjoys cooking for friends and family,travelling with her husband Kieran and walking in the Mourne mountains near her home.

Dr Nicola Mc Cormick BDS(QUB) GDC Number 69564

Nicola qualified from the Queens University Belfast in 1993.  After working in hospital positions in the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast and a year in both Hospital and private practice positions in Australia, Nicola moved to the South of England,where she worked in predominantly private practice from 2002.

Nicola returned to her County Down roots with her family  in 2016, and is delighted to be part of the Ballybot dental team. She is a very experienced general practitioner, and is especially skilled in treating nervous and anxious patients.

Providing practical solutions for dental health is a passion for Nicola, and seeing her patients mouths transformed in dental health ,function ,and beauty. She is especially keen on the use of minimally invasive techniques, such as tooth whitening, composite bonding, and short term adult orthodontics to achieve great aesthetic results where required.

Nicola is committed to postgraduate education , and regards ongoing learning and development integral to her continued pursuit to deliver high quality care to her patients.

Dr Susan Adair BDS(Manchester) GDC number 70775

Dr Susan Adair graduated from University of Manchester in 1995 and then undertook vocational training in the north of England before returning to Northern Ireland to work in general practice.

Susan provides a full range of healthcare and cosmetic solutions , with her main interests in aesthetics and restorative dentistry and strives to ensure that all her patients benefit from the very latest dental techniques and materials.

Susan is a member of The British Dental Association and has undertaken a year course in implantology . Susan attends courses regularly to maintain and update her professional knowledge.

Outside work, Susan is a mum of three and enjoys playing golf , reading and cooking.

Dr Martina Collins BDS (QUB) GDC Number 74970

Dr Martina Collins has been working in general dental practice since graduating from Queen's University Belfast in 1998. She joined us in 2008 and works here on Mondays and Saturdays. Martina is currently completing her postgraduate training from the Clinical Foundation of Orthopaedics and Orthodontics and treats children and adults as well as keeping up to date with current trends in dentistry by attending a wide range of postgraduate courses.

Martina has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and orthodontics and is an active member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is also a registered “Clearstep™” and Perfect Clear practitioner and is qualified to carry out ‘invisible orthodontics’ using clear aligners.

Martina is very experienced in the field of facial aesthetics and is fully qualified to administer anti-wrinkle and dermal filler injection therapies.

Outside of work, Martina is a busy mum of three. Her hobbies include running, yoga and cooking.

Dr Stuart Clarke(Dundee) GDC Number 178040
Stuart Clarke graduated from Dundee University in 2009 and has since enjoyed working in a variety of dental practices throughout Scotland. He returned to Northern Ireland in 2016 to settle with his young family. Stuart is very enthusiastic about dentistry and believes that everyone should be entitled to good quality care in a comfortable, friendly environment. He offers a range of both private and NHS treatments, depending on individual patient needs and has an interest in aesthetic fillings and orthodontic treatment for which he is currently undertaking an MSC with Warwick university. He has spent several years working within a hospital setting undertaking oral surgery, and is happy to accept referrals for patients who require more complicated extractions and for assessment and treatment of infants with suspected tongue ties. He has a calm, caring manner and strives to provide a pleasant experience to even the most anxious of patients. In his spare time Stuart enjoys spending time with his family, hill walking, cycling and skiing.
Lisa Kane RDHDental Hygienist

Lisa is our Dental Hygienist,her role in Ballybot Dental Surgery,predominantly,is to treat patients with Periodontal Disease,to guide them in the management of their oral health and ensure they have the understanding and skills to maintain a healthy smile.

Her aim is to provide patients with a relaxed and positive dental experience.

Lisa’s career in dentistry started back in 1997,when she trained as a dental nurse. Her first nursing job was in a specialist periodontal practice and it was in working here that she decided to return to college to study Dental Hygiene at Trinity College,Dublin.

In 2002,Lisa qualified with a Distinction in Dental Hygiene and Radiography,she was also awarded Clinician of the year. More recently,in 2015,Lisa was a finalist in the Kin Dental Hygienist of the Year Award.

Before joining Ballybot Dental Surgery,Lisa worked in London and Dublin in a wide range of practices. She has gained extensive experience in Periodontics,Orthodontics,Oral Surgery,Implants and Prosthetics.

She continues to support and expand on her knowledge by attending regular conferences,courses and CPD training. Lisa is a member of the Irish Dental Association and the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She is registered with both the General Dental Council and the Irish Dental Council.

Outside of work,Lisa has a passion for jewellery and attends silversmithing courses. She also loves to attend both comedy and music gigs.
